The awareness of again a new and next phase in my life.

Note: Today's blog may be a bit difficult to just read and / or understand. Still, I want to share it with you.

If you are really and deeper interested, please feel invited to read it over again. Feel free to email me and ask more about it or to learn more about it.

Thankfully and for over five years I served many guests at The Pavana Chiang Mai resort (before The Spa resort Chiang Mai) in especially the mind and spiritual part of the resort’s at that time holistic healthcare approach.

Since February this year I am not working for the resort any longer still happily living at the adjacent Spa Resort Residences. I felt a bit pity for not being ‘on duty’ after this wonderful time. Not being able, the way I did, to share the many insights I got, and even more I still will get in meditation, Kundalini awareness yoga, Buddhist philosophy, life and talent coaching and energy work. Insights that helped many former guests to discover themselves and find their own inside latent solutions to solve difficult situations and transformations in their life they were facing and to come into flow again.

And as always if one door closes, automatically another door opens. Although very happy living here, this February situation did not feel comfortable to me. Feeling my passion ongoing pushing inside myself to go on growing by sharing to give purpose to my mission. Being active and enthusiastic it felt as being in, and facing, a ‘gap’. A temporary space and time of doing nothing. Nothing to worry about. Just and only sometimes a bit rough.

As I learned, things like this always have a reason. The thing is you do not know the reason yet and for our programmed human brain it feels easier to know the outcome, the goal.
Space and time to think, to contemplate, to explore and go one step deeper into myself. What is the meaning, what do I have to learn, what is the message? Am I really not growing? Wanting to work by myself again on it, instead of trusting and waiting (I will come to that later) for what shows up.

Time to open up, actually to accept the 'doing nothing' and to trust something else and even better that's already waiting for you will arrive. Exactly at the right moment that 'other dimension' will knock at your door. You cannot force this proces. I just and only needs its own time.
Indeed it turned out into a feeling of again the awareness of the birth of the next phase or step in my life.

Friday July 13th I got an unexpected and amazing email from a friend who did not know about my situation yet. Starting with: “Hi Frans, Trust all is well. Did your changes appear this month or still on the way?” He explained to me how he learned from a Mexican friend that existence has a knowing of its own, The more time we are in a ‘gap’ we seem to be part of its infinite intelligence. Intuition blooming as the mind drops occasionally, accepting more to come…
He attached a wonderful picture of a gap in the sky to invigorate his message and to make it visual. And writing this here and now, actually and even more makes my new insight clearer as opening and connection between the infinite, unlimited, and our limited dimensions.

It took me a while to consider and to understand. For me it has everything to do with again a personal and inner energy shift. With being even more present in the moment, not judging, shifting the focus of my attention inside my body and accepting. Being even more aware of the deeper and underlying response of my senses and to listen/see/feel subtle energy shifts.

And starting that day more things became clear to me only because my change of attention. Everything you give attention grows…

Wednesday July 25th from another friend I got an unexpected and amazing group email giving me the opportunity, only within a time-frame of that day, to watch for free a documentary in relation to shamanic healing. She as well did not know the situation I was in and did not know anything of my basic shamanic talent in my so called “Tree of life” of talents and gifts (see picture). Several parts of the documentary gave me goosebumps. More and more I got the feeling it carried a personal message for me.

The closet opened. More and more puzzle pieces fell in place. Being more and more connected with nature. Without even knowing already a couple of years ago I stopped marketing myself, my ‘business’ (actually I never saw it as any business but as my mission). Not being on any social media any longer, no I-Phone, no watch. More alone (all-one). No, not being a hermit or feeling lonely. After years of waiting finally getting my new name out of India a couple of months ago. Working with labyrinths and Tantra. With percussion instruments like singing bowls, gongs, Tingshas, Ghantas, and drums. With crystals, Dorjes and Phurbas. With rituals. No, nothing ‘floaty’. Still very connected and grounded.
No recommendations from former students or guests on my website any more to promote my activities. I am free and can live without. The time is there for me I do not have to be anyone any longer, do not ‘need’ for guests or students at all, do not have to 'work' on sharing my insights and wisdom. The time for me is there to understand I can belong to myself. Infinity is patient... And being patient, I trust guests will find me and I have nothing to do for that. I even stopped the contract of my website for the next period starting beginning 2019. What happens, happens.

Belonging to myself helps me to listen to and learn from my soul and mission. My top three talents in relation to my mission in life, as my tree of life in 2011 during my study to become a certified talent coach showed me, are first of all Shaman, supported by Philosopher and Miracle worker.

I feel today the time is there to stop believing and sometimes even hiding that but to trust it. I found myself even more again, can do without a persona any longer to survive. Opening up to grow further on the shamanic path.

Yes, I am available and can wait for guests and students to find me...

In the meantime I will get and find ways to feed my three top-talents and open myself to be used by the infinite to serve and more and more to ‘heal’. Two very close and professional relationships, working with and through me.

Soon I will start to travel. Feeding my 'Vagabond' talent at the grow point of my tree, and see who and what crosses my paths to grow by sharing. My way is going to show me.
Still using the practices and build up knowledge from my former stages of developing in life. Step by step flowing into re-balancing disturbed human energy fields to create more flow.

House rules. The golden guidelines in our house.

Many people who walk through the small street at the wonderful place I live here in Thailand, stop in front of my house and take a picture of our golden guidelines of our house. I placed them outside as well as inside our house as a welcome and reminder about the way we want to connect with and respect other people. And sure it is an invitation to be treated by our guests the same way.

Last week somebody asked me why I never published them in one of my blogs. Not a bad idea so… here they are:

Welcome and feel invited to our home

Respect our Golden guidelines in this house:

Be yourself
(Show your own uniqueness. Everybody else is already taken.)

Loosen desires
(Be grateful for what you more than enough already have and stop clinging to attachments.)

Enjoy LIVING life
(Life is valuable. Stop running. Live mindful. Fulfill your purpose.)

Offer new chances
(Forgive. Realize everybody has his/her best interest & heart but sometimes don’t show it.)

Express your feelings
(The most wonderful way in understanding and connect deeply.)

Disconnect to connect
(Enjoy face-to-face conversation and energy flow between each other.)

Enjoy (the) Here & Now
(You only can touch life in the present moment. The only thing that has no end.)

Hug often and love more
(The only real currency in life.)

Keep the positive energy in
(Stay healthy, happy & really and truly to life. Keep calm. Relax. Absorb. Recharge.)

The clock won’t find you here!

Recognize your life force energy! The inner limitless supply to live your mission.

You do not have to make life force energy (Prana). You have it already. Just free it and let it flow.

Ever person’s life started out of life force energy. Sexual energy and life force energy are exactly the same.
And after that basic moment of creation it went on. Ever thought about the idea that you still carry a mark on your body of it? It is called your belly button or navel. The place where your life force entered your body before your mom gave birth. And this life force energy is still there.

Why did you get life force energy? Very easy the answer is to live life. Contemplating deeper on this question you will discover it has everything to do with getting the energy for your soul to grow and to share. The body is the temporary temple of the everlasting and timeless soul. And during your life the soul wants to make progress. Wants to grow and is trying to fulfill its mission, your mission, your calling.

We all know there are very energetic persons who seems to have an overactive and limitless supply of energy which we are just not capable of having ourselves. People who live in flow.
Most people are totally unconscious of their available huge energy source called life force energy (Called Prana in Hinduism and Buddhism, Ki in Japan, Chi or Qi in Chinese and, maybe most understandable 'Balance of Nature' by the Aboriginals). Invisible life force energy is a cosmic energy, a vital force, that gives us life. Have the confidence that there is an intelligence leading it through your body in everything that you go through negative and positive.

It is really a wonder that your creation gave you not only your unique set of talents and gifts to fulfill your mission but also the necessary amount of energy to succeed in it.
Most people do not feel this energy at all. They know the feeling of being energy drained, not knowing how to free their life force energy, to let it flow and to use it. The problem is that your programming and sad life experiences (trauma’s if you want to call them) disturb the energy freeing and flowing process.

Your programming, often out of the best intentions by your parents, culture, environment, religion, masters in life, actually offered you a tool set to behave in the system you are born. And in combination with expectations, marketing, desires, you name them all, is not always supporting you in the best possible way to live your mission.

Trauma’s that helped (or forced) you to find creative ways to survive and to stay safe. To, if possible, not to be hurt again. Creating a protection mechanism of covering veils and with all that blocking more and more your free inner life force energy flow.

We can teach ourselves the process of freeing, flowering and flowing of this energy to use it in the way it is mend to be and to feel energetic. It is a matter of agitating the latent energy, help it to flow through the body’s energy channels and to capture or contain it inside it.
Working on and with it, many times you discover blockages needed to be cleared or even trauma’s to be healed to free the way to let the energy flow. A wonderful cleansing process of freeing yourself and gaining wisdom (Djana) to do it and continue doing it.

Meditation, (Pranayama) breathing techniques, the sacred acts of love making, embracing life and being consistent in it, (Kundalini) yoga, a healthy diet, living your calling (that’s more than your dream), liberating yourself from energy draining relationships, and even laughing are means to support the freeing and flowing of your life force energy.

All supporting and creating a healthy mind and a healthy and playful soul in a healthy body to fulfill your unique mission in life.

The benefits of getting up early. Moving with the gifts of nature. Gold and silver in balance. A great experience and ... how do you do that?

There is an old saying: "Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise" My father lived this quote and I discovered myself that it is true.

I have been living in a small village in the north of Thailand for more than six years now. The people who live here are connected to nature and move in with it.
One of the experiences, which I am now used to, is that the day starts here at six in the morning. The monks walk their daily morning Tak Bat rounds (begging for food / alms offering to monks) everywhere in this country, so in our village as well, at around half past seven. The villagers must be ready and prepared for that. Getting up around half past six therefore is quite normal (just like going to sleep at around ten o'clock in the evening). For me now a total accepted and used, energetic and great change of life and lifestyle. Almost daily the conscious experience of sunrise and sunset when it is not cloudy and ... enough hours rest.

Every person has his own pattern of getting up and going to bed. And if you are honest with yourself, the time after about ten o'clock in the evening means that you watch television, check the Internet and your social media and maybe play a game. Often a form of 'hanging around not really knowing what to do but not ready yet to go to bed'. You call it relaxation to make it even more acceptable for yourself but in fact it is no more than an established part of your lifestyle. A habit because you have taught yourself that you cannot go to sleep.
In the past, I even caught myself trying to use that time to prepare for my busy schedule for the next day and to read documents for the meetings. My daughter would say, "Did you feel a bit crazy in your head?" And now I say she was right.

If people who want to join a health program here and hear that we start at six o'clock they feel it as a huge offer to bring and sometimes it raises deep questions. In practice it always works out in a positive way and actually used to be very simple. It has no more and no less to do with how you adjust yourself to the time difference (time zone) compared to your 'homeland'. Adjusting is simply a given thing if you travel to a country that has a different time zone. And most of the time does not cause any problems or maybe only for a couple of days and then you are used to it. So immediately start that rhythm to wake up at six in the morning is a simple trick. Maybe it is not even a trick but just that adjustment to change your schedule immediately to that time.

Have you ever wondered why there are time zones in the world? Didn’t that have to do with how nature adjusts to the sun and the moon because the globe is in an ongoing turning round process? My sister sometimes reminds me when she sends a message late in the evening and says she knows that I already woke up that moment.

We are absolutely not aware of what nature offers us of (free of charge) energy and often live our lives opposite. Complaining we do not feel totally healthy... Buddhism teaches that, in a natural circle, the day is connected with 'Gold' (the sun, energy and action, to the right side of the meditating Buddha) and the night with 'Silver', (the moon, recharging/recovering and supporting the raise of inner wisdom through only rest, left side of the meditating Buddha). And those two have to be in balance for optimal health, for optimal gaining wisdom and yes indeed for 'wealth'.

Especially in the West, we cause damage to this movement, and with it to ourselves. In the early morning we stay asleep and in the evening we continue to wake up even longer.
In the same West, we calculate almost everything in our lives. What it can bring us personally for our lives, for our health and so on. We often skip to calculate in relation to our lifestyle and behavior. Not even realizing that we decline a free offer.

Be honest, a 'morning person' or an 'evening person' has only to do with a pattern you have learned and with that with a grown lifestyle habit. Sometimes not being willing (because yes you are able) to wake up early is even seen as inner laziness.

Mind you, there is nothing wrong with 'debus', but with structural getting up late you literally leave and do not make use of a lot of energy, opportunities, creativity and possibilities.

What the 'gain' can be? Only a few examples:
# First you move along with the day and night rhythm (and the energy) of nature. You benefit from that free of charge energy. From the natural offer to support you in action and recovery.
# Your mind is fresh, can do more, in the early morning, good to think deeper about things (or to meditate) and be sure you are more creative.
# You have time for yoga or physical fitness, a much better alternative than doing things in the evening giving you even an energy boost before going to bed.
# You have the opportunity to prepare your day better. Much easier, if you would like, to prepare your agenda for the day. To really introduce a new habit instead of using the time you actually need to calm the mind down reading stuff for the next day as I did for many years.
# Because most people do not follow your (new) behavior, you have private time. Time you are not disturbed by social media, colleagues, work or your children. So you create time for yourself.
# Your effectiveness and productivity during the day is better and the profits of this (also in money) will benefit you.

And so I can go on and on to share more benefits.

You will never succeed in changing your habit? Of course you can! Who is in charge of your life and lifestyle? Who is the ‘boss’? Stop with your general excuses to fool yourself.

How do you adjust your rhythm?

It is said that it can be done slowly, step by step and yes, that is a possibility, but just like stopping smoking it is a question of really willing to do and therefore simply (no not always easy) by straightaway stopping. That can be hard but it’s most of the times the best option. And so it is with adjusting your day and night rhythm or balance.

If you want to experience the gain and benefits of getting up early, you are standing up from one day to the next ... early. Know that your body does not really appreciate it. And here comes that 'boss' around the corner again, that manager of your life. If you are really the manager of your life and you want it then just do it. Change your behavior from one moment to the next. And yes, that is a bit uncomfortable for a few days / nights because your learned habit protests against your new desired habit. Actually it is exactly the same as adjusting to a different time zone if you go for a holiday to a different continent.

You go to bed same time as was 'normal' before. Midnight or maybe at one o'clock or half past one and you get up at half past six in the morning. Really? Yes really!
Your body will be protesting for a few days but YOU and only YOU are going to rule your life and your body quickly adapts to that deeper will and that deeper consciousness. You will find that you quickly, because your body want to give itself recovery time, long for going to sleep around ten o'clock. No months required.

Who knows ..., not just worth a try but just a decision to change your lifestyle that, as my father already lived and showed makes, healthier, wealthier and wiser.

Your days are full of happiness moments. You only have to see them and pick them up.

Two weeks ago I received an email from an aquintance. He shared an experience with me that during yoga class he had been asked to think during the meditation part of that class about a moment of experienced happiness in the past week or weeks. He told me that nothing had come up in his mind. It made him very sad.

I told him in my reply that our environment and marketing have taught us to believe what and how happiness moments should be. I too many years ago, before my accident and during the long-term process of dealing with my burn-out, did not see happiness any more. The last years I discovered - and now I know -, on a daily base I just passed by this wonderful free gifts and actually was standing on top of them. I learned, driven by my environment and my own thought process and mindset, not to see them anymore.

Happiness does not make our economy happy because you cannot earn money on it. Creating unhappiness feelings make people buy. Out of my recovery process and also because of living here in Thailand I am aware that there are dozens of moments of happiness during a day and it is just a matter of picking them up.

Just to give you an idea of some of those moments of happiness that many times appear during my day?

Waking up in the morning and when I look outside, I sleep with open curtains, the beautiful daily different reflections of the light and sun in the clouds and the sky. The soft and wonderful smile on my girlfriend's tinted face. The wagging tail of my always happy dog when I come downstairs. Ready to jump on the scooter to go to the forest in search of new discoveries such as the beautiful feather we found this morning (see photo). It made me happy. The cheerful fantastic sounds of birds that awaken, night sounds that fade away and the new day sounds that become louder to serve the daytime.

Or the mirror lesson of a 'normal' tree that shows me the seasons of life with being willing to give and receive. Showing the natural cycle of flowering, harvest and especially the necessary rest to support this yearly process. 'Simply' (?) the experience of being able to see, feel and breathe. The sleepy greeting of my neighbor who gives our street dog and her cats food in the morning. The waving school children in their van on their way to school. The rice farmer, up to his knees in the mud in the field, raising his arm to say good morning from a distance to me seeing me with my dog on the scooter in the early morning. Singing in the church. The joyful reaction to a given small tip after the refueling of my scooter by a boy or girl from the Caltex petrol station. The kindly and with a big swing opened glass door of the Krungsri bank by the guard and his playful 'Good to see you again' with a big smile. The man who is always on the corner at the traffic light in front of his 'Silly Pietje' shop always saying something friendly when I have to stop in front of the traffic light. The almost daily reunion with my two kids on Skype.

An e-mail from a former guest with a sincere ‘thank you’ for listening and / or paying attention to him or her. The weekly 'Hello my good friend' of the ‘chicken selling lady’ on the Friday market. The for Dutch concepts 'crazy' and colorful clothing that I sometimes wear and in which I feel myself. Just being myself without worrying about what others (whoever) might think of it anymore ... I can go on for hours. And ... this kind of happiness does not cost anything at all?

Open your eyes and daily increase your awareness of the free available moments of happiness you are standing on top of. It is just a matter of mindset.

Bad for the economy and so incredibly good for yourself and therefore for all those others you care about as well.

Meditation helps - and gives power - to survive.

There is a lot to learn from the experiences of the trapped 12 young boys and their coach in the Tham Luang cave (Great cave) which nestles in the border town of Mae Sai within Chiang Rai province in the Northern part of Thailand. As a graduated master in Crisis and disaster management this whole search and rescue operation had and still has my full attention.

One of the things, living for over six years in Thailand now and more and more in to Buddhism, meditation, yoga and life- & talent coaching, that got my attention is the servant leadership of the young football coach and the way he made use of his talents and gifts to help the team to survive.

Following the news and background of this only 25 years old boy I discovered he was a monk for many years. In Thailand that is not so special. For every Thai boy it is an honor to his family, and especially to his mom, to be a monk for at least three months before getting married.

This young coach served longer as a monk and so automatically learned and practiced deeply the skills of Samatha and Vipassana meditation.

Why I think this coach showed great ‘servant leadership’ is that he really took care of his team in the first place. Offering his food and water to the boys instead of using it for himself. Showing them ‘survival skills’ and using his meditation skills and talents to help the group to sustain longer in an, under the given conditions, as best as possible physical and mental health and condition.

He offered and guided the group, trapped in the darkness, meditation to calm the body and mind down. To focus and concentrate on a positive outcome, to use Metta (being open to send out and receive loving kindness from love ones outside). And once again, as I wrote in my last week blog, this shows the valuable influence of positive thoughts, intentions and even prayer. Meditation helped to reduce the use of the available amount of oxygen in the small space they had to survive.

Meditation calms body and mind down and keeps you still alert. And with diminishing the use of oxygen he created a longer time-frame for the search and rescue operation to find and rescue them.

Although the rescue operation had its very sad death toll, everybody worked with the best intentions and efforts to save the team and they succeeded. A more than great job, international cooperation and decision making.

And only one out of many of the great lessons of this dangerous operation…Meditation helped offering the power to survive.

The power of positive thoughts and intentions. Miracles exist! My heart beat faster.

Last Monday evening late in Thailand I was waiting until my girlfriend was back home safely after a happy weekend together. Her flight had been delayed because of bad weather conditions and after arrival she had to cope with a queue of over a hundred people waiting for a taxi to her home.

Thailand was and still is under the spell of the 12 missing children and their coach in a cave in Chiang Rai. And certainly because of my background in the world of international crises and disaster management this had (and still has) my attention.
By coincidence, I witnessed on television directly that evening how the news came in that the children and their coach were found safe and alive after nine days. Literally my heart started to beat faster. International cooperation works and miracles exist.

Great to see and really feel the explosion of energy of this discovery by this children, their hoping family members (who are number one in Thai culture), rescue and social workers and the population here in Thailand.

From my father I once learned the power and influence positive thoughts and intentions have. And for me the experiences so far with the children and their coach in the cave in Chiang Rai Thailand are another proof of it.

Positive thoughts, positive intentions, and yes also praying (the power of intentions and often also in combination with sound such as the Japanese doctor and scientist Masuru Emoto with his photos of crystals so 'crystal clear' shows), has a gigantic positive and influence and are even healing in some cases.

And whether or not you believe in a God does not matter that much in relation to it. With your positive thoughts you generate strong positive energy that benefits everyone. The children who are locked up, the emergency workers, the family members and even your neighbors who are engaged with the scene. It really does add power. It supports the process of 'do not give up'. There is hope until you give up. And hope is living.

Omar Reygadas, one of the 33 miners who was trapped underground in the Atacama desert, near CopiapĂł, (Chile, South America) for 69 days, said faith and prayer, as well as humor, had helped he and his colleagues stay positive while they waited to be rescued.

The best pilots are ashore and we all know better solutions to solve the problems the Thai authorities have to face. Various media give us the evidence about it. Not always out of a positive approach.
And again as sometimes said; ‘It is the tone that makes the music’.

Do the media have any idea of what is happening and under what most bizarre circumstances? The positive so far now is that they are still alive and with our positive intentions and thoughts we support a salvation that hopefully will ensure that they all will come out safe and alive.

I am getting younger by the day and am wonderfully made.

Exactly today I reached the age of 61 years young. Yes, young, and a typical Cancer / Rooster personality.

For several years already I am a Eucharistic Minister at The Sacred Heart Cathedral in Chiang Mai. Since about half a year now also a cantor, singing responsorial psalms, on a regular base.

Last Sunday, so just five days before my birthday, I was serving and singing in the church again. The psalm I was invited to sing said: ‘I praise you, for I am wonderfully made’. Preparing myself for singing this psalm helped me to think about this quote. And actually it came up in my mind I fully agree with that statement.

I am a process and a product of love. Not a single thing is wrong on and with my heart, my mind, my soul and my body. No marketing needed to help me to doubt this lived understanding. So… I am not really good for the economy.
No changes at all need to be made. And although my body, like every other person, is aging… my mind and soul are getting younger by the day. My heart is open to give and receive love and I feel no boundaries for that.

No regrets about the past. Mistakes were and are lessons, not telling me I am a mistake. Living life is a lifetime learning process, like learning to walk. An ongoing process of standing up one more time than falling down to make steps forwards.

Doing Kundalini Awareness Yoga, Meditation and some normal workouts on a daily base help me to feel great and to honor and challenge the temporary temple of my soul, my body. No punishments or special diets. Managing, and also enjoying the pleasures of and in, my life. Being together with my girlfriend, like today, drinking a glass of wine. A beer for instance at the Mae Rim Friday market. Just to enjoy, no overkill.

No, or at least as less as possible, negative influences in my life that bother my mind any longer. Not following the ‘news’ in newspapers, radio and on television. Being satisfied and happy with what I already have and living by the day. No need to get ‘more’ or reach goals. Not disturbed anymore by what I thought people were thinking about me. Publications on the internet, social media, etc.. Just and only being more and more aware of living my purpose and values of life.

A free ‘puppy’ inside (my inner child) being myself and ongoing feeding and keeping young and alive all my talents and gifts from Jester to Shaman.

Actually, I am more than grateful this day again that I understand I am really wonderfully made and getting younger by the day.

What is the 'Power Bank' of your relationship?

Last week in my blog I shortly mentioned that what more and more people nowadays see as their best relationship, their I-phones or tablets, need energy, power. And it is more and more common people have so called ‘power banks’ to keep this ‘relationship’ running. In that blog I asked myself what actually is the ‘power-bank’ of human relationships?

Asking myself that question I planted a kind of seed in my mind to find answers on that question. Not that I am the specialist in that but who knows it can be interesting to share my thoughts and who knows it helps to get insights.

Just a couple of things that came up in my mind:
# Staying ‘All-one’.
Meaning this. All-one is different than alone or lonely. Self-love and attention is the basic key to being all-one. If you do not take care of yourself first how can you be there for 100% for the world around you? And I do not mean in a material way. Self-love has to do with being able to be the manager of your own life. In most cases you are not. Your thoughts are the master and you only follow.

All-one has to do with feeling in optimal and balanced condition of Mind, Emotions, your physical body, the connection with your environment of energy takers and energy givers (causal part) and spiritual (don’t mix that up with religion).

If your self-love is overflowing, you can share that overflowing love with the world around you. And if there is a love connection between partners this is a magnificent energy that is flowing. If there, for whatever reason, is no bond any longer, this does not say that you are out of balance because you always and still are all-one.

# Communication and understanding.
Communication is really an art. Mindful communication learns to listen in a curious way first without immediately judging. Very hard to do and you can learn. The art of communication has nothing to do with our mobile devices. It has everything to do with face-to-face conversation. Being really available for each other.
Understanding is another art. During a meeting for instance we think, if we are telling something in relation to the theme of the meeting, people are listening and trying to understand. Most of the time it is not true. They use the timeframe you are speaking to make up their own story to express immediately after you finished talking. The nice thing is they only think other people are listening so they can and will understand. This is not true. Only one or two ‘key words’ people hear are enough to start their thinking process to make their own story again. So what about listening? Most meetings are just wasting time…
Understanding is the willingness to open yourself to not only to take the time to listen to the story someone is telling. It is listening in the role of curious observer. And if judgmental thoughts come up you can use them as a mirror of your background of knowing only your truth as a part of the truth. Understanding has everything to do with showing respect to discover the bigger truth.

# Cultivating loving kindness
This has everything to do with your basic posture and life-style. For cultivating loving kindness you need to be connected with your heart and must be willing to open your heart to send and receive Metta. Connecting energy. Not being scared to be harmed and with the right intentions to connect and even to heal if necessary.

# Compassion
In compassion you do not take care of but you take care about without upsetting yourself. Actually you stay in the role of observer. Thich Nhat Hanh explains compassion is a verb. Being there to listen, to take care if needed (only showing that you are there / available instead of thinking and without asking starting to act because you think what the other person needs). Compassion is being sensitive and connected but without personal suffering. A doctor, as example, need to show compassion but he does not have to suffer with his patients. If the doctor suffers, he cannot help.

# Joy
If there is no joy in a relationship the relationship is dead. Joy of being together, of being playful and totally yourself and feeling accepted, of exploring each other deeper and deeper. Joy in being creative and happy with each other. A sensual and exciting discovery journey in challenging each other’s minds, hearts, souls and bodies. There is always more to learn and discover unless you let ‘laziness’ take over because what once was your soul mate is not interested anymore…

# Inclusiveness.
Unconditional accepting the other person the way he/she is with his/her whole programming, habits and acting. Not always an easy job I can tell.

Like the power banks for our mobile devices also the ‘powerbanks’ for relationships have many forms, features, connectivity, power requirements and prices…

Invest to find your ‘best product’ for the ‘best price’. You are (both) worth it.
